Oluwatoyin Iwukemjika, the dynamic force behind Kathy Anthony House of Style LTD, is a self-taught fashion designer whose talent and expertise have made her a celebrated name in the fashion industry. With her base in Abuja, Oluwatoyin has become the go-to designer for opulent Northern brides, earning her acclaim and a dedicated following.  

Her journey in fashion began during her tenure at Sterling Bank PLC, where she first discovered her love for fashion design. This was a significant pivot from her academic background in economics, showcasing her diverse talents and ability to excel in different fields. Her early career saw her gaining valuable experience and recognition in various fashion houses, where her unique approach to design began to take shape.

The turning point in her career came after meeting her husband, Emeka Iwukemjika, in the USA in 2010. Emeka saw the potential in her work and encouraged her to establish her own fashion label. Heeding this advice, Oluwatoyin launched her brand, bringing a fresh perspective to the fashion scene. Her signature style, which encompasses ready-to-wear, bespoke tailoring, made-to-measure, and haute couture, particularly for women, quickly garnered attention.

Oluwatoyin’s work is renowned for its innovative use of African fabric, transforming this traditional material into spectacular, high-fashion pieces. Her designs skillfully blend traditional fabrics like aso-oke and lace with contemporary trends, making her creations a favorite among 'A'-list celebrities both within and outside Nigeria.

In addition to her design work, Oluwatoyin is deeply committed to education in the fashion industry. Through the Kathy Anthony House of Style Academy, she has imparted her knowledge and skills to over 5,000 female students, nurturing a new generation of fashion designers. The Academy stands as a testament to her dedication to empowering women through fashion.
